The buyers agent is free for the buyer 99.9% of the time. Usually the buyers agent gets pay from the listing (sellers) agent. In rare cases the buyer will have to pay the realtor fee if the home is for sale by owner and the owner doesn’t agree to pay the commision.


2. They understand the market.


Every real estate market is different and can change from one neighborhood to the next. Having a buyers agent can help you when offering on your dream home. The buyers agent will know what has sold in the area and will be able to give you a recommended price to offer on the house.


3. Writing a real estate contract.


When you hire a buyers agent, you’re hiring a professional to educate you on the ins and outs of the real estate contracts. There are multiple things to consider when writing a purchase agreement and a buyers agent will make sure you understand what you are getting into. They will not only make sure you aren’t over paying but they will make sure you are covered in case something comes up during the inspection period.
